Ground Energetics of Food

The reality is that we are a go. go. go.  society. But can we choose differently? Could we choose to ground in and relax. To prioritize our time not because of needing 'to get things done' but from a place of recogonizing our sacred selves? 

There are many ways we can ground ourselves. We can go to water. We can take our shoes off and walk barefoot in the grass. We can sit next to a tree. We can hold a piece of jasper. We can drink tea made of roots (turmeric, marshmallow, licorice). We can also turn to food. 

Food possesses energy. Energy can be cultivate to help us achieve different states. To help relax and ground into our bodies: 

  • root vegetables ( beets, carrots, parsnips, turnips, potatoes, sweet potatoes) 

  • mushrooms (earth element) 

  • beef 

  • beans 

  • slow cooked meals
